McNamara gets nod ahead of Pressley to land Dundee United manager’s post

Partick Thistle manager Jackie McNamara has seen off competition from Falkirk’s Steven Pressley and will be named Dundee United’s new manager.

Thistle confirmed yesterday they had granted their manager permission to speak to the Tayside club.
