Pastors aiming to bring peace to the streets of Elgin

Worse-for-wear revellers in Elgin town centre will soon have support from specially-trained street pastors.

The team of church volunteers will patrol the streets on weekend nights.

Their services include brushing up broken glass, helping party-goers into taxis — even giving flip-flops to women who are struggling to walk in their heels.
