Key pair staying at Inverness

Caley Thistle held on to leading scorer Billy McKay and Scotland international midfielder Andrew Shinnie as the January transfer window closed last night.

McKay, who has scored 21 goals this season, and Shinnie, who has netted 13 times, were both coveted by a host of English Cham- pionship clubs but will stay with Inverness for the remainder of the campaign.
