‘Families will suffer’ in council cuts plan

HIGHLAND Council will consider budget cuts of more than £20million at a meeting next week.

More that 140 council jobs could go, the cost of burials will increase and parents will pay more for school meals.

Opposition members of the local authority have already claimed families will bear the brunt of the plans to trim spending over the next two years.
