Nicol caps off birthday with gold win

Aberdeen's Les Nicol treated himself to an early 77th birthday present by collecting a gold medal in the Scottish masters cross-country championships at Forres on Saturday.

The veteran Metro Aberdeen Running Club member is one of the city's oldest active sportsmen .
