Men ‘lucky to be alive’ after avalanche drama

THIS is the dramatic moment that three men were rescued from the Cairngorms following another major avalanche.

The climbers were swept away at the weekend – only minutes after speaking to another group who had just been caught up in one in the same area.

The men from the Nottingham area were lucky to survive, an expert said last night.
