Four of city’s streets on most polluted list

ABERDEEN’S Union Street has become one of the most polluted in Scotland.

Three other city routes – Wellington Road, Market Street, and King Street – also failed to meet EU and UK air pollution targets according to environmental campaigners.

Delays in building the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route – and failure to pedestrianise parts of the city centre – are being blamed for the dirty air.
