Wife’s vigil after driver badly injured in crash
A WOMAN was keeping vigil at her husband’s bedside last night after he suffered “life-changing” injuries when his pick-up truck smashed into a tree.
Firefighters used cutting equipment to free the 50-year-old from the wreckage of his silver Nissan Navara Outlaw.
He was trapped in the vehicle for about an hour after he lost control in icy conditions on a country road.
