Cutbacks plan puts jobs and schools in firing line

JOBS are at risk, schools could close and road maintenance spending could be cut under Moray Council’s plans to save millions of pounds.

The local authority published details yesterday of the budget cuts it proposes to make in 2013-14.

A total of £30million needs to be trimmed from the council’s spending over the next four years.
