Mahady plans national masters stroke

Laura Mahady is one of the leading north-east performers taking part in this weekend's Scottish masters indoor championships at Glasgow's Emirates Arena.

The Aberdeen AAC middle-distance runner goes in the women’s over-50s 400m and 800m. It will be her last appearance in this age division as she steps up to the over-55 category this month and will target success in that age group in the European masters championships at San Sebastian, Spain, in March.
