Music retailer to shut stores

HMV’s administrators are to shut 11 shops in Scotland and another 55 elsewhere in the UK in a move costing nearly 1,000 jobs.
Accountancy firm Deloitte said yesterday that the doomed stores would continue to trade for now, but they would start closing over the next one to two months.
Administrator Nick Edwards said the shops had been identified as part of an ongoing review of the music and games retailer’s financial position.
