Universities don war paint in boat race countdown

The rivalry between Aberdeen's two university rowing crews has gone tribal.

The two crews for this year's 18th annual Aberdeen Boat Race were announced yesterday and in keeping with this year's theme of encouraging the supporters to show their true colours on race day, members of both crews donned Maori face paint in their university colours.
