Council’s cost-cutting axe could hit ice rink

THE FATE of a top Moray sports venue hangs in the balance as council budget cuts loom.

About £100,000 must be found to replace cooling equipment at Moray Leisure Centre’s ice rink.

This comes against a backdrop of the local authority battling to cut £30million from its budget over the next four years.
