Motorists warned: Get set for months of road chaos

THE NORTH is braced for traffic chaos today as a five-month partial closure of a main trunk road gets under way.
Transport bosses issued a last-minute plea for the public to be patient as the first phase of a £13.2million repair and resurfacing project starts on the Kessock Bridge, which links the Black Isle and Inverness.
Operating company Scotland Transerv warned that delays were inevitable and forecast that up to an hour would be added to journeys over the crossing on the A9 Inverness-Thurso road.
