PM ready for horse-meat showdown

Prime Minister David Cameron has vowed that anyone caught passing off horse meat as beef will face the full force of the law, as the contamination crisis deepened.
The Conservative leader defended the UK Government’s response to the scandal yesterday, saying it was insisting on “meaningful” tests of products by suppliers.
He was speaking after a meat firm in Wales and a slaughterhouse in West Yorkshire were raided by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) and police officers on Tuesday.
