Parents’ warning after son, 18, killed in crash

THE family of a teenager who died in a road accident earlier this week have paid tribute to the aspiring mechanic.

Eighteen-year-old Andrew Mackay, of Dyce, was killed when his car skidded off a road and smashed into a tree on the B977 Hatton of Fintray road in Aberdeenshire.

Last night, his mother spoke of her devastation at his death, but hoped that their loss would make young drivers think more about road safety.
