‘Catalogue of failings’ at fees-row care home

INSPECTORS uncovered a catalogue of failings at a care home suing families who have refused to pay for the “hellish” treatment they claim their loved ones endured.

The owner of Riverside House in the Highlands has been ordered to make immediate improvements after it scored the lowest possible grades for the quality of service it provides.

Last night, however, he said he was happy with the care his staff provided and branded families who had complained “troublemakers”.
