Mum slams ‘corrupt’ Thai police force

The mother of an alleged rape victim from Fort William has joined her daughter in condemning her treatment by the Thai police.

The criticisms came after the police arrested a suspect and released his version of events to the media.

The suspect, who has been named as Pongpatana Porsoi, 26, has allegedly told police he met the victim in a bar and tried to help her with a knee wound before having consensual sex.
