Grampian ‘botched’ waiting lists for hospitals

NHS Grampian is under fire for botching patient waiting lists and damaging public confidence in the health service.
A powerful watchdog body discovered the board could not explain why some people were listed as “unavailable” and produced no evidence they had been contacted to confirm they could not attend clinics.
Last night, one MSP, Richard Baker, accused the Scottish Government of “not being straight with people”.
