Murder bid trial told man ‘beaten so badly he cannot eat’

A MORAY pensioner has been left unable to eat, speak, walk or talk after he was brutally beaten and left for dead, a court has heard.

James Robson’s doctor said he had been a healthy, active 66-year-old who lived independently before he was attacked in his home on July 10 last year.

Now he needs round-the-clock care, is fed through a tube and even requires help to breathe.
