Blue Toon firing blanks

Peterhead defender Ryan Strachan admits the Blue Toon need to start finding the back of the net if they are to keep their hopes of finishing best of the rest in the Third Division behind runaway leaders Rangers.

Despite sitting third in the table, the Buchan men are the league’s lowest scorers with only 27 goals in 25 matches. However, their success this season has been built upon a solid defensive unit – only Rangers have conceded fewer goals at home than Jim McInally’s side.
