Butcher forced to change as banned Warren misses out

Caley Thistle manager Terry Butcher is confident central defender Josh Meekings will recover from a back strain to replace the suspended Gary Warren against Dundee United tomorrow.

Warren put in a man-of-the-match display as he headed two goals to help the Caley Jags break a six-game winless run with a dramatic 3-2 win at Hearts on Saturday.

The 28-year-old former Newport County player has been an ever present for Inverness since heading north in the summer and will be sorely missed against Jackie McNamara’s side.
