Accident patients’ delays on rise

The percentage of accident and emergency patients treated on time has fallen across Grampian.

Official figures showed that the proportion of patients treated within the official four-hour target fell month-on-month from 97.5% in September last year, to 94.5% in December.

Under national standards, 98% of patients attending at A&E should be either admitted or transferred for treatment, or discharged within the target.
