Butcher league revamp fears

League reconstruction will prevent Caley Thistle and Ross County from challenging in the top half of the SPL table, according to Inverness manager Terry Butcher.

Although Butcher agrees with Staggies counterpart Derek Adams in opposing the new 12-12-18 structure, the former England captain is sure the financial realities of Scottish football will mean the plans are voted through.

Inverness look likely to vote for the new proposals, with County against them.
