Ridgers leading Thistle road to recovery

Strathspey Thistle goalkeeper Willie Ridgers believes his club is finally ready to challenge at the right end of the league table.

The Grantown Jags have languished near the bottom of the division since joining the Highland League in 2009, primarily due to the fact they have invested a six-figure sum in upgrading their ground.

But Ridgers, who has signed a new three-year contract, believes that is all about to change.
