Tragedy as Lily, 2, dies after being hit by car

A NORTH-EAST community is in mourning today after the death of a two-year-old girl who was hit by a car yards from her home.
The youngster, named locally as Lily MacCluskey, was taken to hospital after the accident involving an Audi Q7.
She died later from her injuries. The accident happened around 4pm yesterday near the driveway of Lily’s parents’ house at Portlethen.
