Last-minute gamble was worth the risk for Draper

Ross Draper knows he took a big chance in moving to Caley Thistle but after the most successful season of his career had no hesitation in agreeing to a new one-year deal with the club.

The 24-year-old rejected a new contract with English League 2 club Macclesfield Town in the summer of 2012 to head north, knowing little about Inverness or the Scottish Premier League.

Yet, the Wolverhampton-born midfielder has been one of the key players in a memorable campaign for Caley Jags, who head to Dundee today third in the table with four games left before the SPL split.
