Climber falls to death near spot of previous fatalities

Another climber has died at the spot in Glencoe where four young friends were swept to their deaths in an avalanche just two months ago.

The tragedy brought the death toll on Scotland’s mountains this year to 12.

The 39-year-old man, who has not been named, fell 600ft down a vertical ice slope on 3,773ft Bidean nam Bian.
