Injury latest: It’s good news on defender Robertson

Aberdeen defender Clark Robertson’s injury is not as bad as first feared, with scans showing the player has not seriously injured his ankle.

The Scotland under-21 defender, who has been named with team-mate Ryan Jack in Billy Stark’s squad to face Luxembourg on Monday, March 25, limped off midway through Saturday’s goalless draw with Motherwell.

But a scan yesterday showed there is no break or ligament damage, and Robertson is expected to return to action in two weeks.
