City Labour Party man spared jail over drugs deals at flat
A LABOUR Party activist involved in supplying thousands of pounds worth of drugs has been spared jail – after his emotional breakdowns in the dock persuaded a sheriff to be lenient.
A distraught Hameed Khan appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday and admitted dealing cannabis and ecstasy worth up to £30,000 from his Aberdeen flat.
But the 24-year-old’s activities were only discovered after he was kidnapped, prompting a police investigation into his abduction, the court heard.
