Nightmarish 17 minutes as Anderson laments collapse

Aberdeen captain Russell Anderson could not hide his frustration and disappointment after the Dons squandered a 3-1 lead at SPL champions-elect Celtic before collapsing to a miserable 4-3 defeat.

A goal down after just 13 seconds when Celtic’s Kris Commons netted the opener on Saturday, the Dons were 3-1 in the lead with just 17 minutes remaining after Scott Vernon and Josh Magennis (2) had scored to silence Parkhead and revive distant dreams of a place in the top six.
