Traffic chaos looms in roadworks blitz

MOTORISTS are facing a month of traffic chaos in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire as more than 500 sets of roadworks are carried out over the next four weeks.

Councils and utility companies will start a wave of road closures and traffic restrictions today.

In Aberdeen, 203 separate roadworks will take place between now and April 17 – with a further 306 in Aberdeenshire.
