Bridcutt may be thrown in at deep end for first start

Liam Bridcutt could be handed a baptism of fire by making his Scotland debut against Wales on Friday, but assistant manager Mark McGhee has no concerns about giving the Brighton player a first start.

With Darren Fletcher and Scott Brown both absent, the 23-year-old could be used as a defensive midfielder against the Welsh.
