Clach up to fourth as Morrison is on target

Gordon Morrison’s 38th minute penalty earned the Lilywhites full points at Grant Street, allowing them to leap-frog opponents Nairn into fourth place in the Highland League table.

The home side dominated the first 45 minutes, but after a few well-chosen words from Nairn manager Les Fridge at the interval the Wee County gave as good as they got in the second period, but the Clach defence managed to successfully repel everything the visitors could throw at them.
