Guilty: Speeding driver who cost cyclist his leg

A SPEEDING motorist who crashed into a cyclist and left him with a severed leg and brain damage has been convicted of dangerous driving.

A jury took just 45 minutes to find Graham Douglas guilty at the end of a week-long trial.

Student Andy MacLeod lost part of his right leg and suffered a “traumatic” head injury when the 29-year-old’s high-powered Subaru Impreza hit him.
