A body has been pulled from a Highland river at the spot where a wildlife photographer went missing last year.

Gordon Dawson, 61, of Teanassie, near Beauly, was thought to be looking for otters to photograph on the River Beauly when he disappeared four months ago.

Northern Constabulary said yesterday that a body was recovered from the river yesterday at Aigas Dam hydro-electric power station and is still to be formally identified.
