Burke comes to Snodgrass’s defence

Scotland midfielder Chris Burke refused to blame Robert Snodgrass for his part in Scotland's defeat by Wales at Hampden last night.

The Scots had been leading through Grant Hanley's header just before half-time before the Norwich City midfielder was sent off after conceding a penalty with a late challenge on Chris Gunter.

Aaron Ramsey netted from the spot to restore parity after 73 minutes before Hal Robson-Kanu scored the winner a minute later, leaving Scotland still without a win in qualification Group A.
