New man in charge but story is the same

Wales came from behind to defeat Scotland at a snowy Hampden as Gordon Strachan's first competitive match in charge ended in bitter disappointment.

The Scots had looked on their way to a morale-boosting victory when Grant Hanley headed home just before half-time. However an Aaron Ramsey penalty and a Hal Robson-Kanu header in the space of two second-half minutes were enough to earn Chris Coleman's side a second successive 2-1 victory over the Scots, who have now taken only two points from their opening five matches in Group A.

Both sides ended the match with 10 men, with Robert Snodgrass shown a second booking for a tackle on Chris Gunter that led to Ramsey's penalty, while Ramsey was dismissed in the final minute for a last-man challenge on James McArthur.
