Accused driver said ‘I fell asleep’, court told
A MOTORIST accused of causing the death of a Moray pensioner told witnesses she fell asleep at the wheel, a court heard yesterday.
Alice Bidaine appeared at Elgin Sheriff Court charged with causing the death of Dufftown woman Norma McLeod.
It is alleged the 22-year-old drove carelessly on the A941 Dufftown to Craigellachie road on September 23, 2011.
