Careless driver, 22, cleared of killing pensioner
A woman accused of killing a pensioner in a Moray crash has admitted careless driving – but has been cleared of causing the death.
Alice Bidaine, 22, had been on trial accused of killing Dufftown woman Norma McLeod by driving carelessly on the A941 Dufftown-Craigellachie road on September 23, 2011.
Yesterday, however, she pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of careless driving – and was fined £300.
