Bishop adds his voice to calls for dualling
An Episcopalian bishop has added his voice to calls for a stretch of Scotland’s most dangerous road to be dualled as a matter of urgency.
The Right Rev Mark Strange, Bishop of Moray, Ross and Caithness, said he fully supported 14 Free Church of Scotland ministers who said they had “no wish” to conduct any more funerals for crash victims on the Inverness to Perth A9 road.
Members of the Free Kirk’s presbytery of Inverness, Lochaber and Ross have called for the project to be “fast-tracked” to “prevent the unnecessary loss of life” on the road.
