Crash rig workers were told: Super Pumas safe

OIL workers on the platform from which last week’s doomed helicopter took off were told how safe Super Pumas were in special briefings just days before the tragedy.

Top bosses from CHC and Total assured workers on the Borgsten Dolphin the model was fully airworthy.

And in a recording of the talk obtained by the Press and Journal, it was clear there was tension and anxiety among the workforce, with repeated questions on the safety of the aircraft.
