Officials deal massive blow to turbine plans
ENVIRONMENTAL health chiefs have dealt a massive blow to plans to build Aberdeenshire’s biggest windfarm on a landmark hill.
Senior council officers have called for the 12-turbine scheme proposed for Mormond Hill to be scrapped after seemingly losing patience with the developer.
Officials said Turriff-based Muirden Energy had failed to produce further details on potential noise issues nearly a year after they were requested.
