Stranded oil worker badly injured in bar
AN OIL worker stranded in the Highlands in the aftermath of a fatal helicopter crash suffered “life-changing” brain injuries during a fracas at a bar.
Paul Aitchison was “left for dead” after the incident – and his wife fears he will never make a full recovery.
He was heading home from a North Sea platform when his aircraft had to divert to Wick for fuel.
