Speeding rural drivers face police crackdown
LIVES are being put at risk in some of the north-east’s smallest communities because drivers are ignoring speed limits.
Police have now launched a crackdown on rogue motorists after a string of complaints from residents who fear there will be a fatality on the narrow roads through their villages.
A special operation will target antisocial driving in the Banff area – in and around settlements including Whitehills, Portsoy, Aberchirder and Fordyce.
