Call for turbines probe
Campaigners are demanding a full investigation into Highland Council’s windfarms policy amid claims it is wrecking the region’s vital tourist industry.
The call for a probe follows the approval of a 260ft meteorological mast for a proposed seven-turbine development which would be just over a mile from the world-famous visitor magnet of Glen Affric.
Locals are also concerned the scheme would affect the value of homes in the Victorian conservation village of Tomich.
