No touchline ban for McInnes
Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has escaped with a two-match suspended ban after his touchline altercation with Billy Brown, of Hearts, last month.
The Hearts assistant manager raced into the Aberdeen technical area to celebrate Jordan McGhee’s late winner against the Dons at Tynecastle on August 24.
McInnes took exception to Brown’s encroachment, pushing the coach back towards his own technical area. Referee Alan Muir sent both men to the stands following the incident. McInnes later apologised to the official for his behaviour and confirmed he would not contest the charge.
