Hayes glad to be out cold during penalty headache
Some players will do anything to avoid being involved in a penalty shoot-out.
Aberdeen midfielder Jonny Hayes was glad he was out cold when Mark Reynolds took Aberdeen's decisive penalty against Alloa Athletic in the League Cup last month as he admits he would have been too scared to watch.
The 26-year-old spent a night in hospital after being knocked out in a nasty clash of heads with Alloa Athletic defender Darryll Meggatt in last month's cup tie.
