Billy has cancer op and Parkinson’s treatment
SHOWBIZ pals rallied round Billy Connolly last night after he revealed he has had surgery for prostate cancer and is being treated for Parkinson’s disease symptoms.
The Glasgow-born comedian has been an Aberdeenshire resident since 1998 when he bought Candacraig House in Strathdon.
He has also become a familiar face at the historic Lonach Gathering, along with celebrity friends including Robin Williams and Dame Judi Dench.
