Drivers voice fears in fight for A9 dualling
ONLY 1% of business people in the north and Moray feel comfortable driving on the notorious A9, a new report reveals.
The majority of them do not feel safe travelling on the region’s main trunk route – or the A96 – the figures show.
The A9 Inverness-Perth route and the A96 from Inverness to Aberdeen were branded “substandard” and “not fit for purpose” by companies across the area in the new study, organised by the Scottish Council for Development and Industry (SCDI).
